Adriaan Bakker, President & Chief Executive Officer
14 years experience in mining and battery materials in the public and private sectors includes project management, finance, marketing and M&A. He was instrumental in identifying and acquiring the Company's vanadium assets, securing stategic partnerships and assembling the industry's leading technical expertise. Through his leadership, two historical projects are now exclusive NI 43-101 vanadium resources and the Company is developing innovative process technologies to produce high purity vanadium electrolyte. His vision is to build the world's first dedicated vanadium electrolyte producer needed to commercialize vanadium batteries in North America.
Stephen Pearce, Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary
27 years experience in mining and law. His current focus is on corporate and securities work and past experience includes mine management and operations. He received his law degree from the University of British Columbia and an Honours Bachelors Degree in economics from York University with an emphasis on corporate finance. He is active in his community and serves as President of WRAGS Western Regional Advocacy Group Society, a non-profit organization which works in partnership with Sleep Country Canada to provide free mattresses to those in our community most in need.
Paul Sorbara, M.Sc., P.Geo & Director
26 years experience in mining, management and project development. He received the designation of Professional Geologist in 1991 from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists in British Columbia and in 1985, the Geological Association of Canada awarded him the designation of Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada. Currently a director of Golden Goliath Resources Ltd. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1976 and a Master of Science Degree in 1979.
John Hewlett, Director
John Hewlett has strategically invested in the resource market for the past 30 years. He is well renowned for his practical approach on direct investment and project development. His experience includes mine development in British Columbia and the Yukon as well as real estate for the last 20 years in British Columbia, Canada. His network of contacts covers a wide array of retail and strategic contacts from the mining industry and accredited investment community.
